The Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR) has been constituted under section 17 of the Commission for Protection of Child Rightas (CCPCR) Act, 2005 vide a notification issued by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs vide Notification no. F.No.11030/1/2007-UTL dated 7th August, 2013.
